The Florida Federation of Republican Assemblies and our state affiliates would like to congratulate Senator McCain for his selection of Sarah Palin for Vice President. The Assemblies have been promoting her candidacy for several months as the answer to the Democrat slate.

Governor Palin's selection will bring confidence to the Conservative wing of the GOP as her social and fiscal credentials are impeccable. She brings executive experience to the ticket as a former mayor and the current Governor of Alaska. In addition as Governor of Alaska, she has experience as the commander - in - chief of that state's National Guard. Governor Palin not only talks the talk she walks the walk.
This is the injection of confidence that the McCain campaign needed and we will be working to organize our Republican Women and conservative base to support this history making ticket.
