Think Again Senator
Illinios Senator and presumptive Democratic Presidential nominee Barack Obama visited Iraq for the first time since 2006 last week and while we welcome the fact that he went there to evaluate the new conditions on the ground, we are concerned at his conclusions and his refusal to rethink his position on the success of the 'surge'.

Questioned by ABC's Terry Moran, who asked: "If you had to do it over again, knowing what you know now, would you support the surge?," Senator Obama said, "No. Keep in mind, these kind of hypotheticals are very difficult. You know hindsight is 20/20. But I think that what I am absolutely convinced of is at that time we had to change the political debate because the view of the Bush administration at that time was one I just disagreed with."
